Village Trip Festival presents Penny Arcade’s Longing Lasts Longer at East Village‘s Pangea

Penny Arcade and Steve Zehentner return to Pangea to celebrate the 2022 Village Trip Festival bringing back their world-wide hit show, Longing Lasts Longer.

Longing Lasts Longer, an investigation into the difference between nostalgia and longing illuminates the seismic shifts over the past 50 years. The performance offers context and a place to stand plus cultural criticism you can dance to! Featuring some of the best music of the past 60 years, over 100 rock and roll songs and loops are live mixed by Steve who provides a lush rolling soundscape for Penny Arcade’s poetic, comedic and dramatic performance.

Longing Lasts Longer continues to evolve with over 115 script revisions to date with the latest performance this past August 27 in Oslo, Norway. The show has been performed 205 times in over 45 cities around the world!
