Fabulous First Fridays returns to Pangea on March 3rd at 9:30 with a brand new show, The Spice of Life* (*as in Variety), conceived and directed, as always, by Gerry Geddes.

Stephen Mosher of BroadwayWorld.com declared that Gerry’s shows at Pangea were “…poised to be the not-to-miss series of downtown nightlife.” And Michael Barbieri of Nitelife Exchange wrote, “In my considered opinion, Geddes is one of the finest directors in cabaret. I’ve been aware of this fact for many years now… I was not aware what a good writer and storyteller he is as well…he also knows talent.”

This all-new show features some of New York’s most established and talented cabaret performers: John Carlucci, Brian Childers, Matt DiPasquale, Yasuhiko Fukuoka, Karen Mack, Mike Schuil, and Lisa Viggiano, along with Gerry contributing some unique spoken word passages to the proceedings. There will be songs by Michel Legrand, David Bowie, Rodgers & Hart, Tony Hatch, Stephen Bishop, Rick Jensen and many others. Music director Yasuhiko Fukuoka will once again provide an orchestra’s worth of sounds from the piano.
