When Lisa decided to sit down at her desk during the height of the pandemic and write her one woman show Trans Am, She had no idea that it would ignite a fire in her that had laid dormant for over 15 years! It’s safe to say that as she now enters into her 50th year on this planet she is officially Treading the Boards Again!

For part of Lisa’s 50th birthday and return to NYC celebration, She has decided to go back to her roots in the East village where she was once hailed as Downtown Rock-n-Roller darling known as Lisa Jackson. Lisa and her band Girl Friday were one of the mainstays of the east village scene in the early 2000’s where they played countless shows and CBGB’s, Arlene’s Grocery and the infamous Cheese Wiz party at Parkside Lounge. . Come out and celebrate with her as she sings her way through a myriad of covers, ranging from Nico to Prince, and of course a few tunes from TRANS AM.
