Let’s move on, time for a new story right now!

Maria and her campaign manager Jackson Sturkey have whipped up some fun and beautiful campaign songs that we can all relate to. We all agree that most of our politicians are on the take and out to lunch, we just disagree about what to do about it. So let’s focus on what we all agree on, and move forward! We are all Americans and I love America!

Life has taught Maria that if you’re gonna tell the truth, you better make it funny, entertaining, or pay people to listen. Maria performs on grand piano, guitar, and singing through NYC, doing mostly original songs. She wrote a book “Girl Shock! I Dressed as a Girl for Halloween and then She Took Over My Life!”, which is now a new musical (we’ve been previewing songs). Maria is also a cybersecurity and risk management professional, and an ex-lobbyist (cybersecurity, green energy) and activist. So she decided to put this stew together for her sanity, and because hey….we all have to do what we can.

Jackson Sturkey is Maria’s Campaign Manager and writing & singing partner for the campaign and “Girl Shock!”, the musical, where Jackson plays “Dude”, Maria when she was a man. Jackson performs his own brew of original songs throughout NYC.

We are joined by Omar Kabir, trumpet and sax player extraordinaire, and music director for the campaign and Girl Shock! Also we are excited to have Jacob Ott nailing it on bass, and the happiest musician in NYC. Omar and Jacob can both be seen playing around NYC.
