Come celebrate the traditional Annual Farewell Party at Pangea, a salute to dear departed artists of the past year. The 2021 cavalcade includes Jim Steinman, Mary Wilson, Phil Spector, Don Everly, Nanci Griffith, and Lee Scratch Perry, among others.
Multi-instrumentalist vocalist Rachelle Garniez is joined by the dream team of bassist Derek Knievergelt and violist Karen Waltuch. Ranging from the poignant to the hilarious, featuring well known favorites and obscure gems, opening the show with their signature Underture medley.
Rachelle Garniez is a native New Yorker who has earned the titles “Diva with a Difference” (Billboard Magazine) and “Master of Surprise” (Entertainment Weekly) by writing and performing darkly optimistic story-songs and by playing a variety of instruments including accordion, piano, claviola, guitar and plastic bells, “…leaving nothing behind but sweet wreckage.” (The New Yorker).
$20 tickets at the door (cash only), $20 food/beverage minimum per person, proof of vaccination and photo ID required
