Bassist John Lang has a diverse background in performance, arranging and composition. Lang has toured the U.S., South America and Europe with dozens of exceptional performers. NYC audiences know John’s work on upright backing with artists such as Larry Ham, Tardo Hammer, and Michael More in duo settings. As a composer and arranger he has recorded 4 CD’s of his own compositions. We are excited to have him and his quartet be a part of our Jazz Nites Series! Joining John is Steve Ash on piano, Chris Byars on sax and Phil Stewart on drums.
