Front Lounge: MARIA KONNER PIANO NIGHT, 8:30pm, no cover
March 5, 8:30 pm-10:30 pm
Maria will be on the grand piano / singing, and loves to take requests and have people sing along. Maria is joined by Jackson Sturkey on vocals and Omar Kabir on sax and trumpet. We’ll also be including a few songs from Maria’s 2024 campaign for President (the musical), and her “Girl Shock” musical. In the future, we will periodically be including guest singers and musicians. (If you want to bring an instrument give me a shout!). Great food / Dinner available till 10PM. And cocktails and drinks always.
Maria is a trans jazz/blues/rock/pop pianist, guitarist and singer who does covers, parodies, and originals. She has published her book “Girl Shock! I Dressed as a Girl for Halloween and then She Took Over my Life” which is now a musical in development. She has performed several sneak previews of the show with her musical partner Jackson Sturkey and music Director Omar Kabir, who will periodically join the piano events.
