PANGEA CLASSICAL/LEGIT BRUNCH OPEN MIC

Pangea, NY’s hottest nightclub and restaurant, will now be serving a delicious brunch on the weekends and every 1st Sunday starting Sunday, March 1st from 12:00-2:30 they will also be serving up CLASSICAL MUSIC and LEGIT MUSICAL THEATRE in a brand new open mic!

Hosted by internationally acclaimed opera singers, Regina Zona and David Sabella, this new open mic offers the singer the opportunity to sing their favorite opera aria, art song or legit musical theatre song in a cool and friendly setting.

Every month, we will be featuring a singer or singers who will perform a mini set at the beginning of the open mic.

You may sing any classical rep or legit musical theatre piece you wish. But we want to make sure that everyone who wants to sing, can sing. That means that songs/arias will be limited to no more than 5 minutes long – no recit, no da capos, and no patter.

In order to sing, a reservation must be made through Regina at: regina@reginazona.com. To reserve a spot to sing, please send your full name, email address, phone number and what you plan on singing (you may change your rep if you wish, but this will give us a good idea as to program order and inform our pianist about the rep they will need to prepare for). Please give us 48 hours to respond.

Walk-ins are welcome and will be put up to sing if there is time but they are not guaranteed a spot to sing.

The house opens at 12:00 noon for check-in. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. There is a $15.00 CASH ONLY music charge at the door. In addition, there is a $15.00 per person food/drink minimum (credit or cash).

PLEASE BRING A NON-SINGING FRIEND! Any non-singing friend will only pay a $10 cover with the $15 food/drink minimum.
