Sultry singer ZaZa Flamenca Opens New Show “Gypsy Caravan” at Pangea

The French-Israeli singer and guitarist ZaZa Flamenca is returning to New York after a hiatus in a one-night stand at Pangea on Thur May 15, at 9:30pm.  Leading a quartet, the sultry siren premieres a new show, “Gypsy Caravan,” blending a swirling storm of styles derived from the places of her international upbringing – from the Middle East, to gypsy jazz, flamenco and French chanson.

On vocals and guitar she is joined by her New York based players — Gabriel Hermida on guitar, Ben Golder-Novick on reeds, and Dustin Kieselbach on upright bass.

Having recently played dates along the East Coast in Savannah, Atlanta, St Augustine Florida, Miami and Orlando, this is ZaZa first New York venue date since before COVID. ZaZa began her professional career in New York where she played solo shows at B.B. King’s Blues Club and the Blue Note NYC. She opened for Grammy winner Leo Dan’s US Tours from 2015 to 2020

With her quartet, called the Gypsy Stars, she is recording a new album, “Bossa Nova Covers,” for release in 2025.

Pangea is New York’s iconic restaurant / cabaret dinner theater. All shows have a $20 food and/or beverage minimum per person (unless otherwise indicated on your ticket.)

Tickets online are $25. Tickets at the door, if available, are $30 (Cash Only).

The restaurant opens as early as 6:00pm for food and beverage service.

Please note the ticket price goes mostly to the performers and production staff. The club sells food and beverages to continue to bring live music to NYC.
